Better Block SGF partnered with the City of Springfield to create a temporary traffic-calming installation at the intersection of South Avenue and Pershing Street to improve pedestrian safety, traffic sight-lines, and visual appeal. The demonstration was used as a pilot project to inform future permanent improvements the City plans to make to the intersection in the future.
