Back for year two! We participated in the annual, worldwide event, Park(ing) Day. In partnership with Mudhouse Coffee, we created a semi-permanent parklet in a single parallel parking space to provide additional seating for Mudhouse patrons as well as additional public space to an otherwise not-so-pedestrian-friendly street in Springfield, Missouri. The installation utilized many recycles materials including burlap sacks that had previously stored coffee beans delivered to Mudhouse Coffee from their providers around the world.

Installed in just 2 hours, it took a small army to assemble this installation on-site. Watch the full time-lapse video below:
